Why does your dept matter?

Imagine you had a long, rough ride in from default and packing was stressful. You roll onto site and you’re greeted by weirdos offering you a good cheer to remind you that you did it, you made it home. If you're new, we give you a run down of the principles, where you'll camp, and send you on your way. Anyways it’s a nice system to have and it is one of the many special things that sets burns apart from festivals.

Why does volunteering improve your burn/make you happy/work for you?

I typically volunteer for every burn I have attended. I enjoy it because it pushes me to meet new people and help out in a community that I deeply care about.

Why should someone consider volunteering for you?

Because it’s fun and I'll provide snacks ;)

What's your best burner skill:

Being a Midwest burner, I have witnessed my fair share of bad weather and flooded tents. I would say optimism and adaptability.

What's your drink of choice?

Dark n stormy with Kraken. But also a lot of water

What keeps you sane in Defaultia?

Good music, live music, and naturey things.

Why do you love burning?

I have heard this commonality between some burners, but I am a big shy introvert and burns were one of the first places where I felt like I met people like me and could make good friends that have lasted me years.

It's also something my brother introduced me too. Even though he's on the west coast, we often use burns to share our experiences and to get out of our boxes.
