WHAT, WHEN, WHERE 2022 NOW ACCEPTING YOUR SUBMISSIONS!

One more update tonight!

Do you or your theme camp have a special or ongoing event you're planning for Mosaic? Something like a crafting session, DJ set, morning coffee gathering, performance art piece, talent show, book club, drinks, food, etc? Wondering how you can let the community know how to take part or attend?

Look no further, as your 2022 WWW (What, When, Where) Submission Form is now live!

https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/www

For those unfamiliar, the WWW is a live guide for ongoing or special events being held by you in the community during Mosaic Experiment.

From now until September 23rd, you can submit to the WWW and we will regularly update the calendar of events in the What, When, Where page right there on our website! Neat, huh?

This way you'll be able to schedule your events to share with the community and check out all of the other awesome things going on... or off... or on again...

Registrations Are Now Open

Have you been waiting to register your theme camp? Have a large art installation you are bringing? Planning on camping with an RV, trailer, or with your car? Want to perform with Conclave this year? Do you need early entry for some perfectly rational, reasonable, and fitting reason? Are you tired of reading these questions and just want us to get to the point?

You're in luck!

Registrations for all of the above are now officially open! This year, we've streamlined this process down to a single form for all your registration needs. Find it on the linked page below and make sure to fill out a form for every individual thing you are looking to register. We may have one form to rule them all, but you may need several of them if you're planning on doing all the things this year.

Also, get those in quickly, registrations close September 14th, 2022.

Out of the Mud - Episode Five: The Gifts We Bring

What comes to mind when you think of Gifting? In our June edition of Out of the Mud, we take a deeper look at the meaning of this principle and how it applies to both activism and volunteering.

Our new Ranger Lead, Cheesepants, joins everyman and Corvus for this month's enlightening episode to discuss Rangering, activism, and burn stories as we get closer to turning this year's Mosaic Experiment back on again.

As a reminder, Tier 1 tickets will only be on sale until July 1st, when we move to our Tier 2 pricing, so if you haven't secured your ticket yet for this year's event, do so ASAP!

Additionally, we will be opening registrations for Theme Camps, Art Installations, Conclave, Early Entry and submissions for 2022's What-When-Where beginning July 18th, 2022.

Art Grant Applications will also be closing on July 18th. Please get your submissions in before 11:59PM on that date so we can help you create that art project you've been wanting to bring to the burn for the last 3 years!

Needs-Based Tickets Program

Hey folks, we've received a few questions regarding our new Needs-Based Tickets Program so we decided to make a quick video about the program on where you can find more info, donate and apply for a ticket based upon your needs.

Needs-Based Tickets combine the low-income tickets from previous years with the gift ticket match-up program from 2021 in order to both provide more flexibility in purchasing a ticket for the event where needs may arise and give the community an opportunity to practice Gifting in the form of donations for the program.

Out of the Mud - Episode Four: Come Prepared!

Welcome back to Out of the Mud with our May episode on Civic Responsibility!

Following up the release of our 2022 Vaccination Policy and the opening of Tier 1 Ticket Sales, we thought it would be helpful to bring on our Gate Lead, Squeezie, and to introduce our new Gate Co-Lead, Zoe, in order to help us understand what needs to be brought with you to gate this year in order to be admitted to the event.

We’ll also be talking about why continuing to require vaccinations this year is an important part of our Civic Responsibility to help better protect not just each other within our community, but those outside the event we may come in contact with in Defaultia before and after the burn.

So sit back, tune in, and listen up as Out of the Mud gives you the details on how you can come prepared to this year’s Mosaic Experiment!

2022 Vaccination Policy

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

~~~
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ~~~
Having recently announced our upcoming ticket sales for Mosaic Experiment 2022: Off and On again, you may be asking, “What is the Vaccination Policy for 2022?”
We will be requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated as defined by the CDC:
  • 2 weeks (14 days) since a person received one dose of an accepted single-dose-series COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Janssen/J&J); OR
  • 2 weeks (14 days) since a person’s second dose in a 2-dose series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine; OR
  • 2 weeks (14 days) since a person received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine (not placebo) in a clinical trial; OR
  • 2 weeks (14 days) since the person received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines listed in Table 2 administered at least 17 days apart.
If you are not yet fully vaccinated, please use this guide below to help you plan:
  • Pfizer: 1st dose by August 17th, 2nd dose by September 14th
  • Moderna: 1st dose by August 10th, 2nd dose by September 14th
  • Johnson & Johnson: single dose by September 14th.
If you purchase a ticket and have not received your final dose by September 14th, 2022, you will not be admitted to the event and your ticket will not be refunded.
What about boosters? Though we are not currently requiring booster shots in order to attend, we are highly recommending them, as they have been shown to significantly decrease risk of serious illness or hospitalization from the Delta and Omicron variants. If in doubt, get boosted!
Exemptions to being vaccinated: we will be making exceptions for children ages 0-5 due to the lack of an approved vaccine dose for that age bracket and their lower risk profile, as well as for those who qualify due to a valid medical reason as determined by the CDC: i.e., those who have had a severe allergic reaction after a first vaccine dose or have a known allergy to a component of the vaccine. If you fall into one of these exemptions, you MUST email us at gate@mosaicexperiment.com by September 15, 2022 to provide verification of this exemption.
Our wonderful Gate team will be checking your physical vaccine card or a screenshot of your digital vaccine record or a full photo of the card with all information clearly visible along with your ID when you arrive. If you are vaccinated but have misplaced your card, please contact your medical provider or the service location where you received your vaccine in order to obtain a replacement card or record as you will need this in order to attend! Please direct all questions you may have to gate@mosaicexperiment.com
We appreciate you doing your part by practicing the principle of Civic Responsibility and getting vaccinated to help ensure we have as safe a burn as reasonably possible when it comes to taking precautions against the spread of COVID-19 and its variants. If needs arise, we will be providing updates to this policy as we get closer to this year’s Mosaic Experiment. See you on the Razorgrass!
Out of the Mud - Episode Two: A Foundation in Art
A bit late posting this episode, as it was released back in March, but we figured we’d go ahead and put it up now.
Welcome back to Out of the Mud!
In our second episode we explore the principle of Radical Self-Expression and show you how you can apply for the Mosaic Organization's open position of Art Grant Lead. We feature some of the art created by members of our community, as well as the street art that is being created worldwide in support of Ukraine.
Our special guest this month is local dubstep producer, DJ, and Mosaic community member Kyoshe; we'll hear from him on his music, how he came to Mosaic, and as a special treat for our viewers, Kyoshe performs a DJ set of his original music on the show with visuals by rivergreygraphics that you definitely do not want to miss!
You can find Kyoshe's latest EP, Shenanigans through Rewind140: https://rewind140official.bandcamp.com/album/shenanigans-ep-rwd-005
And his new single, Predator through Audio Terror Recordings: https://audioterrorrecordings.bandcamp.com/track/predator
Find more and keep up to date with Kyoshe's latest projects through his SoundCloud at: https://soundcloud.com/ky0she
If you'd like to have your art, music, or activism projects featured on our show, or would like to be considered as a special guest for an upcoming episode, write to us at: promotions@mosaicexperiment.com
